Stade Rennes held off a fast finishing Evian 3-2 on Tuesday to move into the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France.
Rennes looked like they would ease to a comfortable victory in front of their home fans after taking a 3-0 at the Stade de la Route de Lorient, but two goals in the space of three minutes from Evian ensured a nervy finish for the hosts.
Jires Kembo-Ekoko gave Rennes the lead with the only goal of the first half after 21 minute.
Julien Feret doubled their advantage nine minutes after the interval, before midfielder Yacine Brahimi made it 3-0 just past the hour mark.
But Evian were handed a way back into the match after Rennes defender Jean Kana Biyik conceded a foul in the penalty area in the 70th minute, with Kevin Berigaud dispatching the resulting spot kick to make it 3-1.
Former Lyon attacker Sidney Govou netted three minutes later to bring Evian right back into the match, but they could not find the goal which would have sent the match into extra time.
PSG's game at Dijon has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, while Quevilly and Orleans will now meet on February 21.
