Palmeiras has moved to the top of the Campeonato Paulista with a thrilling 3-2 win over XV de Piracicaba.
Defender Artur scored the winner in the 72nd minute in a match where the two sides traded goals throughout.
The victory sent Palmeiras to the top of the Paulista table on goal difference after Corinthians let in a late equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Mogi Mirim.
Qatari international Emerson Sheik scored the first-half opener for Corinthians before Hernane claimed a late draw with a goal four minutes from time.
In other results, finals contenders Mirassol and Bragantino both recorded big wins.
Mirassol put four goals past strugglers Guaratingueta without conceding, while Bragantino thrashed Ituano 4-1.
Guarani also recorded a win, 1-0 over Portuguesa, while Catanduvense and Ponte Preta played out a 1-1 draw.
