Olympic Lyon required extra-time to beat Bordeaux 3-1 and progress to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France on Wednesday.
In an enthralling match at Stade de Gerland, Lyon secured victory through goals from Bafetimbi Gomis and Jimmy Briand in each half of extra-time.
Jussie put Bordeaux ahead in the 23rd minute after a defensive mistake allowed him to slot home the opener.
Despite wasting numerous chances, the hosts responded well and equalised 13 minutes later through Alexandre Lacazette.

Mathieu Dossevi and Vincent Aboubakar scored in the 71st and 78th minutes for Valenciennes to take a 2-0 lead over the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
Lille hit back in the 88th minute thanks to a goal from Nolan Roux but the hosts, who are nine points below Lille on the French league table, held on for the win.
In the other two quarter-finals held on Wednesday, Montpellier scored a goal in each half to beat Chateauroux 2-0, and third-tier club Gazelec Ajaccio continued their fine cup run, which has included wins over Toulouse and Troyes, by defeating fourth-tier club Drancy 2-0.
